Dcn Wayne Talbot has been with our parish since 2000 and his ministry has evolved over time. Some of his duties include bible studies, OCIA, hospital ministry, work with the councils, building security, etc. Dcn Wayne feels blessed to be a part of St. Thomas More and enjoys working with people. The parish feels like one big family that is broad and diverse in talent and personality. There is not a dull moment in ministry! He is supported by his wife, Kathryn, and his two children, Roman and Sarah. His family is an active part of the life of St. Thomas More. Dcn Wayne graduated with a Masters in Theological Studies from St. Meinrad in Indiana. He grew up in Clay Center and went to Hannibal, MO, for high school seminary, Conception Seminary for college, and Mundelein, IL, for two semesters.
