Dcn. Harry Hardy
Deacon
Harry Hardy was ordained a Permanent Deacon for the Salina Diocese on June 28, 2025. He was born in Denver, Colorado and has lived most of his life in Kansas. He has been a member of St Thomas More Parish from 1982-1985, and from 1988 until now. Harry received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and a Juris Doctor Degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. He was a Supervisory Attorney for the United States Army for 43 years, serving four years as an active duty Army Judge Advocate Officer and the remainder his career as a Supervisory Civilian Attorney, retiring in June, 2024. As a St. Thomas More parishioner, Harry served on the Parish and Finance Councils, Extraordinary Minister. He is a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus and Past Grand Knight of Council 8488. Harry and his wife Kathy, have six children and 12 grandchildren. Dcn Harry coordinates the Parish’s OCIA program and assists couples in marriage preparation and annulment.
